We helped a local office furniture company to define and realize a better characterized interiors atmosphere for their clients, by designing specific interiors elements as well as general guidelines.
A local company focused in office furniture won the call to produce the whole interiors for the new CNA offices’ building. Their offer was for neutral and efficient furniture, just as needed, but it lacked atmosphere and it didn’t offer any interior identity for their client.
Our help needed to bear in mind strong spatial constraints, for the construction was already in advanced stage, and budget limits. Fortunately our client’s client was willing to improve the results they were seeing coming, so there was a good space for collaboration.
We worked on the strong need of an interior identity and atmosphere, by starting from their existing branding, analyzing it and producing moodboards and early guidelines. Then focusing on the reception desk, we came up with some possible solutions among which we collaboratively identified the best one fitting both the space and the client’s expectations.
We then spent time with the office people understanding what kind of environment they wanted to work in, and what didn’t work in their previous office, from their point of view. Finally studying their target segment we defined a proper atmosphere and a few practical guidelines for the interior elements.
The final image of the branded elements roots in the office’s original branding, and builds on that to elaborate visual tools that inform several interior elements of the office. We designed and directly coordinated the development for the reception desk, walls treatment, the signage and orientation elements and the branded images dislocated in the office’s corridors.
